Fifty-six years ago the Grateful Dead travelled to England to perform at the Hollywood Festival, held on Ted Askey’s farm near Newcastle-under-Lyme. The event featured an impressive line-up including Traffic, Ginger Baker’s Airforce, Mungo Jerry, The Flaming Groovies, Tony Joe White, Black Sabbath and Jose Feliciano.
